Where are Antalya’s dental clinics?

Antalya province is large. It stretches along roughly 600 kilometres of coast, from Kaş in the west to Gazipaşa in the east, and inland into the Taurus mountains. But its dental clinics are not spread evenly. They cluster tightly in the city of Antalya, and above all in one district.

This article uses the Ministry of Health’s HealthTürkiye register, downloaded on 22 October 2026, to show where the 247 authorised dental clinics and centres in the province are. The district for each clinic is our reading of the address on the register; the full list is on our Antalya register page.

The clinics by district

Muratpaşa alone holds 58 per cent of the province’s authorised dental clinics. Add Konyaaltı and Kepez, and the city of Antalya accounts for about four in five.

Where the clinics in our guide are

Thirteen of the 15 clinics in our ranking are in Muratpaşa, in neighbourhoods such as Fener, Güzeloba, Çağlayan, Şirinyalı, Kızıltoprak and Yeşilbahçe. Two, Diamond Dental and Yalın Dental Clinic, are in Konyaaltı. Our top pick, Precious Dental, is in Yeşilbahçe, Muratpaşa.

That clustering is useful for you. It means that most hotels in the city centre or on the Lara side are a short drive from most of the clinics in our list, and that comparing two clinics in person, if you want to, does not mean crossing the province.

Travel times from the airport

Antalya Airport sits on the eastern edge of the city. Using OpenStreetMap road data in free-flowing traffic, the drive from the airport is about:

• Central Muratpaşa: 20 to 30 minutes.
• Konyaaltı: 30 to 40 minutes, crossing the city.
• Manavgat and Side: about an hour, 68 km.
• Alanya: about an hour and three-quarters, 128 km.

What location means for your treatment

Short journeys matter most on surgery day

On the day of implant surgery or extractions, and for a day or two afterwards, you will want to get back to your room quickly and rest. A clinic 15 minutes from your hotel is very different from one an hour away, especially in summer heat. If your package includes a hotel, ask where it is in relation to the clinic. If you book your own, keep it close.

Several appointments in one week

Implant and crown treatments usually involve several visits in a short stay: a scan and consultation, surgery or preparation, try-ins and fitting. Each one means a trip to the clinic. Transfers are often included, but even so, a shorter journey makes the week easier.

If you are staying in a resort

Lara, Konyaaltı and the city centre

Clinic websites often describe themselves by area rather than district. “Lara” usually means the eastern side of the city towards Lara beach, which is mostly in Muratpaşa. “Konyaaltı” means the western beach side. “City centre” or “Kaleiçi” means the old town and the streets around it, also in Muratpaşa. Choosing where to stay, district by district

Muratpaşa

This is where you will find most clinics, most hotels and the old town, Kaleiçi, with its harbour, narrow streets and restaurants. Staying here usually puts you within a short taxi ride of your clinic. The seafront parks along the cliffs are good for gentle walks in the days after treatment. The eastern side, towards Lara, has large beach hotels and is closer to the airport.

Konyaaltı

The long pebble beach to the west of the centre, with a seafront promenade, cafés and many apartment hotels. It is quieter than the centre in the evenings and popular with families. If your clinic is in Konyaaltı, this is the natural place to stay; if it is in central Muratpaşa, the journey is longer but still manageable outside rush hour.

Kepez

The northern part of the city is mainly residential. Its 21 clinics largely serve local patients. Few visitors stay here, though it is close to the bus station and the tram line.

Alanya and Manavgat

These are resort districts in their own right, with their own clinics. If you are already on holiday there, a clinic nearby saves travel. If you are travelling specifically for treatment, most patients choose the city of Antalya, where there is more choice and the airport is closer.

A district is not a quality signal

It is worth saying plainly: a clinic’s district tells you about convenience, not about its dentistry. A clinic in a smart seafront street is not better because of its address, and one in a residential neighbourhood is not worse. The concentration in Muratpaşa reflects where offices, hotels and patients are, not where the best dentists work. Use location to plan your stay, and use the six checks, the written plan and the dentist to decide where to be treated.

If your clinic is not in the city

A handful of authorised clinics are in smaller towns such as Kemer, Kaş, Demre and Kumluca. They mainly serve local people and holidaymakers. If one of them is your choice, plan your accommodation in the same town and check how you would get back to the airport on the day you fly, since some of these towns are two hours or more away by road.

Which part of Antalya has the most dental clinics?

Muratpaşa, the central district, with 143 of the 247 authorised clinics and centres. It covers the city centre, the old town (Kaleiçi) and neighbourhoods towards Lara.

Is Lara a separate district?

No. Lara is a well-known area on the eastern side of the city, and most of it falls within Muratpaşa. Some clinics advertise themselves as being in Lara.

Are there dental clinics in Alanya and Side?

Yes. The register lists 23 in Alanya district and 13 in Manavgat district, which includes Side.

Does it matter how far my hotel is from the clinic?

It matters most on surgery days and the days after, when you will want a short, easy journey. Many packages include transfers.
