Medical disclaimer

General information can help you ask better questions. It cannot tell you what your own mouth needs.

Short answer

Everything on this site is general information. It is not medical or dental advice for you, and it does not replace an examination, X-rays and a written plan from a dentist. If you are in pain, have swelling or are worried, contact a dentist. In the UK, call NHS 111 for urgent advice, or 999 if swelling affects your breathing or swallowing. In Türkiye, call 112.

Information, not advice

The rankings, clinic pages and articles on this site are written to help UK patients understand their options and prepare questions. They are general. They do not take account of your health, your medicines, your bone, your gums or what you want from treatment, and they are not a diagnosis.

Do not start, stop or change any treatment or medicine because of something you read here. Speak to a dentist or doctor who knows your history.

Rankings are not clinical judgements

The rankings record whether clinics publish certain information, such as a guarantee or a price, and how they are reviewed online. They are not an assessment of any dentist’s skill or of treatment results, and they are published by Precious Dental, one of the clinics listed. See the advertising disclosure.

Treatment abroad carries risk

Any dental treatment can have complications, wherever it is done. Having it abroad adds travel, time pressure and distance from the clinic if something needs attention later. GOV.UK advises discussing plans with your UK doctor or dentist before going ahead. Plan your aftercare at home before you travel.

When to get help now

  • Swelling around the eye or in the neck, or swelling that makes it hard to breathe, swallow or speak: in the UK go to A&E or call 999; in Türkiye call 112.
  • Bleeding that will not stop after firm pressure, or pain and swelling that get worse instead of better: contact your dentist or, in the UK, NHS 111.
  • A high temperature, a bad taste and worsening pain after treatment can mean infection: contact a dentist promptly.

Prices and facts change

Prices, guarantees and other clinic details are copied from public sources on the date shown and can change without notice. Always get the current details in writing from the clinic before you book.

Common questions

Can I choose a treatment from this site?

You can learn what to ask. Only a dentist who has examined you and seen your X-rays can tell you which treatment suits you.

Is a ranking a recommendation for my case?

No. The rankings compare what clinics publish. They do not say which clinic or treatment is right for you.

Who do I call in an emergency in Antalya?

112 is the emergency number in Türkiye for ambulance, police and fire.
