Antalya dental clinic guarantees, side by side

Ten of the fifteen clinics in our guide publish written guarantees. The periods differ more than you might expect, and the small print differs even more.

Short answer

Ten of the 15 Antalya clinics we checked publish guarantee periods. For implants, most that publish one say lifetime; for crowns, most say 5 years, with two saying up to 10; for laminate veneers, periods range from 2 to 10 years. Five clinics publish no guarantee we could find. Precious Dental, our top pick, gives implants with abutment a lifetime guarantee, crowns and bridges 5 years and laminate veneers 3 years.

Most Antalya clinics that market to UK patients talk about guarantees. Fewer of them publish the details. One of the six checks in this guide is whether a clinic publishes guarantee periods in writing, treatment by treatment, so that you can read them before you book. Ten of the fifteen clinics we checked do.

This article puts what those ten publish side by side, and then looks at the questions a guarantee period on its own does not answer. Every period here is copied from the clinic’s own website on 22 October 2026, and the source for each is on the clinic’s evidence page.

What stands out

Implants: “lifetime” is common, but it means different things

Seven of the ten clinics publish a lifetime guarantee on implants in some form. The wording varies in ways that matter. “Implant with abutment” covers the connector that joins the implant to the tooth as well as the implant itself. “Lifetime material guarantee” suggests the cover is for the part, not for the work of replacing it. “Life-long on Straumann implants” ties the cover to one brand. Perla describes a 10-year warranty rather than a lifetime one.

Implant manufacturers often run their own warranty programmes on the part, which is separate from what a clinic promises. When a clinic says lifetime, ask whether it means its own promise to redo the work, the manufacturer’s promise to replace the part, or both.

Crowns: five years is the norm

Most clinics that publish a crown guarantee give five years. Diamond Dental says up to ten, and Perla describes ten. OGN says up to five, with written conditions. “Up to” usually means the period depends on the material or on meeting conditions, so ask which period applies to your crowns.

Veneers: the widest spread

Veneer guarantees range from two years to ten. Laminate veneers, the thin shells bonded to the front of the teeth, tend to get shorter periods than full-coverage crowns. Precious Dental gives three years on laminate veneers; Attelia and Sevil Smile give two; Dentatur gives five on E-max veneers; Perla describes ten. If you are comparing veneer clinics, check that you are comparing the same kind of veneer.

Six questions a guarantee period does not answer

  1. What exactly is covered? The implant, the abutment, the crown or bridge, the labour, the materials? A guarantee on the implant alone will not pay to remake a bridge.
  2. Where do I have to go?Most guarantees are honoured at the clinic in Antalya. Ask whether any part can be dealt with in the UK.
  3. Who pays for travel?Flights and hotel can cost more than the repair. Ask whether the clinic contributes.
  4. What cancels the guarantee?Common conditions include smoking, not wearing a night guard if you grind, not having regular check-ups, and treatment by another dentist.
  5. What proof do I need?Usually your implant passport or treatment record and evidence of check-ups. Keep everything.
  6. Is it in writing? The terms should be on the clinic’s site or in your paperwork, not only in a message from a coordinator.

A worked example: a loose crown on an implant

Imagine you had two implants with crowns in Antalya, and a year later one crown feels loose while you are at home in the UK. Here is how the guarantee question usually plays out.

First, a loose implant crown is often a loose screw rather than a failed implant. A UK dentist who knows the implant brand may be able to tighten or replace the screw in one short visit, for a fee. Your clinic’s guarantee probably does not pay for that, because it covers work done at the clinic. If the crown itself has cracked, the clinic may remake it under its crown guarantee, but you would normally need to travel back for it, and the guarantee may not cover the flight.

If the implant itself has failed, which is less common, the lifetime implant guarantee is what you would rely on. You would usually need to show your implant passport, your X-rays and evidence that you kept up check-ups and did not smoke, depending on the terms. The clinic would place a new implant, and you would then need a new crown on top.

The lesson is that the length of a guarantee is only one part of the picture. How easy it is to use from the UK, and what it leaves you paying for, matters as much.

Guarantees and full-arch treatment

For All-on-4 and All-on-6, the guarantee question gets bigger. You have six or eight implants, a bar and a bridge of twelve or more teeth. Ask how the guarantee treats each part. A lifetime promise on the implants does not tell you what happens if a tooth chips off the bridge, if the temporary teeth break during healing, or if the final bridge needs relining. Ask for the periods for the bridge and the temporaries separately.

How to make a guarantee work for you

  • Get the terms before you pay. Ask for the full guarantee document, not just the period, and read the exclusions.
  • Keep your records. Implant passport, X-rays, scans and the treatment plan. Without them, a guarantee is hard to use.
  • Keep up your check-ups at home. Many guarantees depend on regular dental visits, and a UK dentist can spot a problem early.
  • Report problems early. Contact the clinic as soon as something feels wrong, in writing, with photos if you can.

The NHS treatment abroad checklist suggests asking what happens if something goes wrong once you are home. A guarantee is part of the answer, but so is having a dentist in the UK who is willing to see you.

Our top pick’s guarantee

Precious Dental, which publishes this guide, gives a lifetime guarantee on implants with their abutments, five years on crowns, bridges and smile makeovers, three years on laminate veneers and one year on whitening. The conditions are on its guarantee page. We think that is a clear, readable set of terms, and it is one reason it is our top pick; the full case is on why Precious Dental.

Where to look next

If a guarantee matters most to you, start with the treatment rankings: implants, crowns and veneers. Each adds the published guarantee for that treatment as an extra check, so the clinics that are open about their terms rise up the list.

Common questions

What does a lifetime implant guarantee cover?

Usually the implant itself, sometimes with the abutment. It rarely covers the crown or bridge on top, the cost of travel, or failure caused by smoking, gum disease or missed check-ups. Read the conditions.

Do I have to go back to Antalya to use a guarantee?

Usually, yes. Most clinic guarantees cover repair or replacement at the clinic. Ask who pays for flights and the hotel if something fails.

Is a longer guarantee always better?

Not by itself. A five-year guarantee with clear terms can be worth more than a ten-year one with conditions that are hard to meet.

What if a clinic publishes no guarantee?

Ask for its guarantee terms in writing before you book. If it will not put them in writing, treat that as a reason to look elsewhere.
